The Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The department has qualified, experienced, dedicated faculty to cater the needs of students.

The department balances between theoretical and practical knowledge. It has state of art laboratories viz: Solid State Physics Lab, Analogue and Digital Electronics Lab, mechanics lab and Commodious Dark Room. The Department offers preparatory programmes for IIT JAM.
